Metz Ville

Introduction

Metz City Station is located in the city of Metz, in the southern part of the old town, at the intersection of the three railways of Reluville-Mes, Metz-Zuftgen and Metz-Leyden. Platform

Metz City Station is a semi-high-rise train station, divided into two parts, the ground and the elevated, which are the station floor and platform. Passengers can go to the platform through the escalator.

The train is located on the high-rise platform where all the trains arrive and leave, and this part is very ugly compared to the buildings at the main station.

There are two types of passenger passages under the platform and a way to and from the platform. They both link the ticketing station and the station to the main building, from the main building, to different entrances and exits.

Depart by train:

From the city centre to Metz train station and facing the station on Charles de Gaulle, enter the main entrance hall on the right side of the clock tower and the entrance is on the right side of the old departure hall.

If you don't have luggage, etc., it doesn't matter which train you use in the entrance hall. Any passenger passage in the lobby can be on the platform.

Most of the facilities at the station are located between the two halls.

However, if you do have luggage, etc., please use the arrival hall to enter the station. There are also lifts in the passage from this hall, which can enter each platform. There is no elevator from the passenger passage from the departure hall.

Arrived by train:

If you are arriving from Paris/South by TGV, the access to the arrivals hall will be at the rear of the train. If you need to use the lift to leave, you will find them here.

The exit to the passenger passage leading to the old hall will be towards the front of the train and there will be an escalator available.

Dover () is a town and major ferry port in Kent, South East England. It faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, and lies south-east of Canterbury and east of Maidstone. The town is the administrative centre of the Dover District and home of the Dover Calais ferry through the Port of Dover. The surrounding chalk cliffs are known as the White Cliffs of Dover.
