The Meiringen–Innertkirchen Railway (German: Meiringen–Innertkirchen Bahn, MIB) is an integral part of the public transport system in the Haslital. It is a 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) metre gauge railway in the Swiss canton of Bern. It covers a distance of 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) between Innertkirchen and Meiringen, and is part of the free ski-bus system in winter. From two stops, you can access the impressive Aare Gorge in summer - a must see destination where you can safely experience the power of water.
