Münster is Munich's main railway station. This is a very practical station - packed with passenger facilities, most of which are on one level. When travelling by train to Europe, it is difficult to avoid Munich's central railway station. From here you can catch more international destinations by train.
When you exit the platform and enter the lobby, the main access of the S-Bahn / U-Bahn platform is on the left.
All the large platforms/tracks/canyons used by long-haul trains are on the streets, so you don't have to use stairs, escalators or elevators unless you take the train to and from the city centre.
This is not a beautiful station, the area in front of the main building is particularly rough - but this will change in the next few years.
The Hbf in Munich will be completely rebuilt and the new station model will be on display at the current station hall - so it seems that this long-delayed project will continue.
Currently, when arriving by express train, you must walk in front of the main lobby to access the exit, taxi and all public transport connections.
