Akita

Akita Station (秋田駅 Akita-eki) is a railway station in Akita, Akita Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Station structure * Ground station. The station building is the Hashigami station building. Akita Station East-West communication free channel in "Poporodo". The north side of the free passage is arranged in the following order: station building, Byu Plaza Akita Station, Midori Window (business hours: 5:30-22:00), traditional line ticket gate, Shinkansen ticket gate. * The bullet train ticket has four automatic ticket gates (can be moved by Suica). * For traditional routes, only the central ticket gate introduces an automatic ticket gate (not Suica compatible). * Ticket vending machines are installed at each ticket gate, and the green counter and designated seat ticket vending machines are installed only at the central entrance. In addition, it is handled in the central ticket gate settlement office. * On the south side of the Freeway, there is a station building parking lot, Starbucks Akita Station store, waiting room, NewDays Akita Popolode store and Akita City Tourist Information Center. * In the March 2017 refurbishment, the NewDays Akita Popolo store is equipped with Mizuho Bank's MMK off-site ATM.

Shin Aomori

Akita (秋田市, Akita-shi, Japanese: [aꜜki̥ta]) is the capital city of Akita Prefecture, Japan, and has been designated a core city since 1 April 1997. The city, which covers an area of 906.07 square kilometres (349.84 sq mi), had an estimated population of 306,668 in 1 June 2019, giving a population density of 338 persons per km².

Aomori (青森市, Aomori-shi) is the capital city of Aomori Prefecture, in the Tōhoku region of Japan. As of 1 June 2019, the city had an estimated population of 276,567 in 136,209 households, and a population density of 335 persons per km². The city is one of Japan's 48 core cities. The total area of the city was 824.61 square kilometres (318.38 sq mi).
