Introduction

Antwerp Central Railway Station is one of the architectural wonders of Europe. When the Thalys train service began, although the station had to be rebuilt, the grand main building on the street was well preserved, mainly because the station's new platform was built on a lower level.

Platform

The train will depart from three different stations:

Some trains, including trains to and from Ghent and elsewhere, will depart from the upper platform and arrive at the lobby.

However, the Thalys train and Intercity Brussels use the services of the underlying platform.

Escalators and elevators connect these low-floor stations to the main lobby, but if you are travelling on a Thalys or Intercity Brussels model, remember to arrive at the station at least 5 minutes before departure.

If you are going to take the Thalys train, it is important to note that the station is different from France or Germany, and the platform at Antwerp Central Station is not divided into areas. Therefore, the capacity will not be able to determine the waiting position on the platform, you need to directly board the Thalys train seat you reserved.

Interestingly, on the Thalys train to Paris, the first class is usually facing the front of the train, while on the train to Amsterdam, it is usually towards the rear.

Before you leave, you can go to the information station to check the location of the train's car card, so that you can easily enter the door of your nearest location and find your seat on the train faster.

Station connection

Arriving at the station by Thays or Intercity trains usually arrives at the lowest level of the four-story station. When you get off the bus and look up, you will easily find the escalators that arrive at the exit. There are also lifts at the station, which can be used when needed.

If you are going to change trains at Antwerp Central Station, please find the train information screen on the platform that arrives from your first train. Avoid checking the departure screen in the main lobby and returning to the same station again. If you are connecting to an IC train from Gent / Gand, Brugge, Lille or Oostende, they usually depart from the top of the station.

When you need to reach the top floor of the escalator, do not use the escalator of the main building, you should use the escalators on the left and right to reach the top floor.

Going to the city center

Antwerp Central Station is located on the eastern edge of the city centre.

The street-centric shopping district is called 'Meir' and is a 10-minute walk from the station. If you are going out, please use the exit on the left side of the station lobby (do not exit from the front door of the station) and walk along the walking route along the street named De Keyserlei.

The old town is located at the other end of 'Meir', so it can also be reached on foot, walking time is about 20 to 30 minutes.

Victoria Railway Station

The Metropolitan Regional Railway opened Victoria Station on December 24, 1868. Victoria Station is one of the busiest stations in London and the station is divided into two parts. The platform on the east is in the Battersea area. The west platform is mainly used for suburban train lines.

The station mainly operates trains in the southeastern city of England, and to the east includes trains to Kent and the surrounding feeder lines; the southern region includes the British seaside resorts of Brighton, White Cliff Dover, and the capital. Portsmouth and other places.

Victoria Station is also the stop for London's Gatwick Airport Express (Gatwick) in the city. It takes only half an hour to complete and is the most convenient and fast way to get to and from London.

Victoria is always standing in the southwest of the train station. It is the main bus terminal in London, and the Flixbus London-Paris train starts here.

Railway Service

Victoria Station is generally used by residents outside London, and residents in the city of London are less used. In fact, Victoria Station is divided into the following two parts:

• East (Chatham), consisting of platforms 1-8, is the terminal point for the Chatham Main Line to Kent and its feeder trains.

• West (Brighton), consisting of platforms 9-19, is the terminus for Surrey and Sussex, and includes the Brighton main line connecting Gatwick Airport and Brighton (Brighton) Main Line) and its branch line. *

The Victoria Underground Station is served by the London Underground, the Loop and the Victoria Line.

There is a bus stop outside the main entrance to Victoria Station, which serves the area of central London.

Bus Route D from Bus Station / Line 38 connects Victoria and Piccadilly Circus, Soho and the British Museum.

From the bus stop C station bus line / line 390 connects Victoria and Hyde Park and Selfridges department store.

On the right side of the bus stop at the corner of Wilton Road, from the exit of the station, near the platform/track 2 is the H bus stop. From this site: Route / Line 2 to Marylebone Route / Route 36 to Edgware Road and Paddington Route / Route 52 to Knightsbridge for Harrods

On the other side of the bus stop on Victoria Street is the bus stop G, from where you can take the lines 11 and 211 to Chelsea.

To Euston and Kings Cross and St Pancras:

These stations are connected to Victoria Station via the Metro Victoria Line, and you can also take the bus to avoid the most crowded subway trains in London.

The bus line/route 390 departs from the bus stop in front of the station and stops next to the other three stations.

To Paddington:

On the westbound route, the train to Edgeway Road is scheduled to run every 12 minutes, but the waiting time may be longer.

To Liverpool Street:

The Eastbound Loop train runs directly from Victoria to Liverpool Street, but if you are in a hurry, you can usually take the Victoria Line northbound train to Oxford Circus for 10 to 15 minutes, then take the Central Line Eastbound train.

• Connect to Heathrow Airport:

(1) Take the Westbound subway train to Baron's Court Station - you need to be aware that you will board the train to Ealing or Richmond.

(2) Baron's Court is a quiet station and the Piccadilly Line train to Heathrow Airport will depart from the other side of the platform. Make sure you board the train to Heathrow Airport and some Piccadilly lines to Rayners Lane or Uxbridge.
