Chur

Introduction

Chur Station is Switzerland's main railway station and many major trains pass through it. Below the railway line there is a wide passageway, ramps and stairs connecting the canyon platforms, most of which arrive and leave in this way.

Elevator

Please note that you do not have to use stairs to walk into the passenger passage, there will be a ramp that will allow you to enter the passenger passage. However, there is no elevator or escalator at the station to connect the passenger passage to the platform. Elevators and escalators can only be connected to bus stops in and out of the street.

If you are heading to the city centre or taxi stand, please avoid going to the main hall and try to use the escalator at the end of the passenger passage.

There are escalators and elevators connecting the main station to the station and the bus terminal above the train station. If arriving from Zurich to the train, these escalators and elevators will be in front of the bus.

The bus terminal also has elevators and escalators that connect it to the street below. Therefore, if you need to use an escalator or elevator, then entering the train and street through the bus terminal is another option for using the station passenger passage.

The entrance to the bus terminal is located at the corner of the train station, so using the passenger passage below the platform is a more direct route to the city centre.

Ticketing

The main ticket office at the end of the passenger passage is SBB Reisezentrum. In Chur, this SBB ticket and reservation office will also sell tickets for the RhB train. Please note that if you are departing from Chur by train, please go to the ticket office on the lower floor.

The ticket office connects the passenger passage to the main entrance of Chur Station and the street outside via escalators, elevators and stairs.
