Genova Piazza Principe Station is the city‘s main transportation hub. With its services, it provides not only a transfer place for ** Genoa ** people and travelers, but also rest during urban and suburban travel.

The Genova Piazza Principe train station (commonly known as Genova Principe or the wrong Genova Porta Principe) is Genoa’s central railway station, located in Piazza Acquaverde, occupying Via Andrea Doria The entire north side - the station is located in the city centre not far from the Palazzo del Principe**, its name. It is used by approximately 66,000 passengers per day and 24 million passengers per year. Piazza del Principe, next to Palazzo del Principe (literally “Prince‘s Palace”), next to Via Andrea Doria, Fassolo street.

The small market is the heart of the original station, occupying the area between Piazza del Principe, Via Andrea Doria and Piazza Acquaverde, where the main entrance is.

Inside the station

The platform for the departure/arrival of most long-distance trains in the station is connected to the main entrance via two passages below the line. On the platform of the main part of the station (on the ground), one of the passages enters through stairs and elevators, and the other enters through escalators and stairs. However, the way the elevator enters and exits the platform is only one escalator into the main hall of the station - when we are there it is in the upward direction. It consists of several layers: * The basement floor is mainly occupied by the technical room and the railway warehouse; * The track layer below the ground floor is almost entirely occupied by the technical room, warehouse, commercial activities and catering services; * The first floor consists of the Traveler Building Commercial activities and passenger services; * The remaining levels are occupied only by railway offices and facilities.

Local transportation

Genoa public transport business (AziendaMobilitàe Trasporti, AMT), Ferrovia Principe-Granarolo railway rack and Ascensore Castello of Albertis-Montegalletto elevator, there is a bus every hour to connect to the airport through the Christopher Columbus Volabus service. The exit of the Principe metro station is just a few metres from the Principe station of Genoa Metro (also managed by AMT) and the thermal sea terminal of Genoa.

Monaco is known to be the most expensive and the wealthiest place on Earth, Vatican City excluded, due to its tax laws. In 2014, it was noted that about 30% of the population was made up of millionaires.Monaco is a principality governed under a form of constitutional monarchy, with Prince Albert II as head of state. Although Prince Albert II is a constitutional monarch, he wields immense political power. The House of Grimaldi has ruled Monaco, with brief interruptions, since 1297. The official language is French, but Monégasque, Italian, and English are widely spoken and understood. The state's sovereignty was officially recognised by the Franco-Monegasque Treaty of 1861, with Monaco becoming a full United Nations voting member in 1993. Through its relationship with France, Monaco uses the euro as its sole currency (prior to this it used the Monégasque franc). Monaco joined the Council of Europe in 2004. Genoa ( JEN-oh-ə; Italian: Genova [ˈdʒɛːnova] ; Ligurian: Zêna [ˈzeːna]; English, historically, and Latin: Genua) is the capital of the Italian region of Liguria and the sixth-largest city in Italy. In 2015, 594,733 people lived within the city's administrative limits. As of the 2011 Italian census, the Province of Genoa, which in 2015 became the Metropolitan City of Genoa, counted 855,834 resident persons. Over 1.5 million people live in the wider metropolitan area stretching along the Italian Riviera.Located on the Gulf of Genoa in the Ligurian Sea, Genoa has historically been one of the most important ports on the Mediterranean: it is currently the busiest in Italy and in the Mediterranean Sea and twelfth-busiest in the European Union. Genoa has been nicknamed la Superba ("the proud one") due to its glorious past and impressive landmarks.
