Montpellier Saint Roch

Introduction

Montpellier Saint-Roch is located in downtown Montpellier, east of the old town, about 1 km from the provincial government of the province of Hérault, and about 1.3 km from Montpellier City Hall. The station is roughly northeast-southwest, the platform is on the ground floor, and the waiting hall and ticket office are on the second floor and are connected by escalators. The station has entrances and exits in the east, south and west directions, with the main entrance facing west and the south exit on the second floor, connected to the viaduct in front of the station. Montpellier's four tram lines (Tramway) (lines 1, 2, 3, and 4) pass through the station and are accessible by multiple bus lines.

Platform

The platform is on the same floor as the street, so the platform A is on the same floor as the main "Central Railway Station" entrance and exit of the station. By using the main hall of the station above the platform, you can enter the platform B-F at the street level.

If you want to access the B-F channel and enter the station through the main entrance of Place Auguste Gilbert, you will need to ascend into the main atrium after entering the station. After taking the first floor, you will enter the train at station B-F. You can choose to take the escalator or lift.

There are two sets of escalators and lifts in the middle of each platform. If you want to use the barrier-free access when starting from the platform B-F, you need to first go to the main hall and use the escalator and elevator to the platform.

Montpellier St. Roc is a station with multiple exits. If you know the route, this is the ideal choice, but if you don't know your route, it may cause confusion, so please pay special attention to the station signpost. .

Perhaps the point that the Montpellier San Roque Station does not like is that most of its stations are extremely narrow. This leaves an extremely narrow space between the edge of the platform and the stairs/elevators. Therefore, leaving the station from a busy TGV or changing trains can cause confusion.

If you don't have luggage or are happy to use the stairs, you will find a staircase under the train that connects all the stations. With this platform you can transfer to other trains as quickly as possible, so you don't have to follow the crowd to compete for lifts.

All short-haul or long-distance trains heading south towards Koblenz are departed from the 3rd route – except for the Rhine-Alte railway, which is used by trains to and from Albrück via Remagen. Route 5 is the starting point for all short-haul trains running on the Freifer Railway.

The title of Federal City (German: Bundesstadt) reflects its important political status within Germany.The headquarters of Deutsche Post DHL and Deutsche Telekom, both DAX-listed corporations, are in Bonn. The city is home to the University of Bonn and a total of 20 United Nations institutions, including headquarters for Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Secretariat of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), and the UN Volunteers programme.
