Naples Central

Napoli Centrale is the main railway station in the city of Naples and southern Italy, and the sixth largest passenger station in Italy, with an annual passenger capacity of 50 million. It is next to Piazza Garibaldi, east of the old town. It is the main railway terminal and station in Naples, serving the Trenitalia National Railway and EAV, and has an underground section (Napoli Garibaldi Square Station), which is serviced by Metro Line 2.

The station was first built in 1866. In addition to the Italian National Railway, you can also take the train from the Naples Metro. The station has 25 tracks. It is connected to Rome via a high-speed train. The station is connected to Salerno and southern Italy via long-distance trains.

At the platform level of the station, there are shops and restaurants, as well as ticket offices, tourist information offices and currency exchange. The KiPoint luggage storage facility is located in a corner, not far from the second track, and also close to the toilet. The Sala Freccia Club is located on the upper level and Sala Blu is suitable for disabled passengers who need special assistance, on the platform level. The NTV office of an Italo passenger named Casa Italo is also on the platform level of the station.

Below the main line is a metro station called Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, for the Villa Literno-Napoli Gianturco railway on line 2 subway trains. The train station is also connected to the nearby Circumvesuviana Napoli Piazza Garibaldi. Many city buses stop at Piazza Garibaldi in front of the station, and there is always a long queue of taxis in front of the doors.

Zürich Hb

The Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich Hauptbahnhof), the largest railway station in Switzerland, has 26 stations (platforms) and is located in the heart of Zurich. The station is located at the northern end of the old town, in the heart of Zurich, close to the junction of the Limmat and Sihl rivers. The station is located on multiple levels, with the platform on the ground and underground and connected to the ShopVille shopping centre via an underground passage.

The station is roughly east-west, located on the northern edge of the city centre and at the northern end of the city's main shopping street, Bahnhofstrasse. It is divided into three main levels, with sixteen terminal platform tracks and the main hall of the station on the ground floor. Below this level is a series of walkways, the ShopVille shopping centre. At the lowest level, parallel to the ground terminal platform, there are 10 underground platform tracks. There are many shopping malls (RailCity) under the underground station in Zurich, and because they are located in the federal government area, they can operate legally on Saturday night and Sunday. The high-end waiting area of Zurich Station is limited to the first class of international trains and the first-class ticket holders.

International trains such as the French TGV, Italy's Cisalpino, Germany's ICE and other important high-speed trains as well as international sleeper trains stop at Zurich.
