Kintetsu Nara Station (Japanese-speaking) is located at Ibara-machi, Nara-machi, Nara-shi, Nara Prefecture. It is a station near Kinki (Nippon Railway). Kintetsu Nara Station is one of the two main railway stations in Nara City, and the other is JR Nara Station. Kintetsu Nara Station is actually more popular than JR Nara Station, although it is not a big station, but it is very busy.
On the one hand, because it is very close to Nara's main tourist area, on the other hand, because Kintetsu provides fast and affordable rail services. However, Kintetsu is a private railway company, so if you have a Japan Rail Pass, you should use JR Nara Station. If you do not have a Japan Rail Pass, you can find Kintetsu Nara Station.
Station construction and layout
Kintetsu Nara Station Building is located on the west side of Kofuku-ji Temple and Nara Park. Most other major tourist attractions in Nara Park are within walking distance of the station. Although the station building is large, the station itself occupies only two basements. The ticket office, ticket vending machine and ticket gate are on the basement level of B1. The platform and track are on the second floor of B2.
