Rudkøbing is a market town in Denmark. It is the main settlement on the island of Langeland. It has a population of 4,630 (per 1 January 2019), up from 4,537 (per 1 January 2014). Each year, the town hosts Langelandsfestivalen, a music festival which targets families and older people (unlike the larger Roskilde Festival elsewhere in Denmark, which is mostly attended by young people).
