Somerset is a town in Massachusetts. It is a small rural town next to Fall River and Swansea.
The landscape around most of Somerset is the water. The best example of this is a drive down Riverside Avenue. Riverside Avenue is a long, winding road that travels through the majority of Somerset's border along the riverside of the Taunton River.
People with children may want to check out the town beach. There is a big, red slide for youngsters, and those young at heart, that is approximately 200 feet in length. Somerset is also filled with tons of after school programs, extracurricular activities, clubs, sports, and organizations to keep kids and adults busy. There is also a bowling alley in town that has just been recently redone to resurface the boards of the lane synthetically.
