Cavaillon is in Vaucluse, France.
A former episcopal seat, located in the Durance valley, within the Luberon Regional Nature Park, the city is today considered the capital of the melon, although much of the production originates today the Crau and the center of Vaucluse, and is only shipped from Cavaillon.
