Rheinfelden is a town divided between Switzerland and Germany with the Rhine flowing through the town and making up the border.
The highlight of Rheinfelden is definitely the old town centre with the medieval city walls and the Roman era river fortifications.

- Feldschlösschen Brewery, Theophil-Roniger-Strasse, +41 848 125 000. On appointment only, M-Sa. This "castle" is home to the brewery of one of the more popular Swiss beers. While the brand has since been bought up by Carlsberg, you can still visit the original brewery with several tours on offer. Fr. 15.
