Grimma is a large county town in the state of Saxony in Germany.
Grimma is situated in the state of Saxony about 25 km southeast of the city of Leipzig and some 16 km south of Wurzen in the Muldental valley. Although it only has a population of around 28,000, it is the fourth largest town in Saxony by area.

- Nimbschen abbey. Ruins of a medieval Cistercian convent. Its most famous nun was Katharina von Bora who, together with eight of her sisters, fled from the place in 1523 and later married the Protestant reformer Martin Luther.
- Pöppelmannbrücke. Baroque stone bridge across the Mulde river, built in 1719, designed by Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann, court architect to Augustus the Strong.
