Gujar Khan is a city in the Rawalpindi District of Punjab, in Pakistan. It benefits from natural resources in the sense of petroleum and gas and its population of around 75000 is growing rapidly.
- Sangni Fort not far out of town is believed to originate in the late 18th or early 19th century, which is knows as the Sikh Period. The picturesque fort was a regional stronghold, intended to increase control over the area and further tax collection. A small hill stream runs on three sides of the building, and for large parts of the year is mostly a dry ravine. The fort is in surprisingly good condition.
