Hermance

The tower of Hermance Hermance is a municipality and small town in the Lake Geneva region, next to the French border. It is inscribed on the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites.

The fountain is where the three main streets meet

  • La tour d'Hermance. This tower was part of a castle and was built in the 14th century.
  • Hermance church, Rue du Bourg-Dessus, 6.
  • Hermance town hall, Rue de l'Eglise 1. This building, called le Mestral, was probably the seat of the local noblemen at the end of the Middle Ages.
  • The fountain. A landmark right in the middle of the town.
