Shell Knob is a small town in the Southwest Missouri Ozarks and a lake resort community. It is located near the western edge of Tablerock Lake. Shell Knob is quiet small town, which sees a spike in activity during the summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) as the out of town lake visitors pour into town.
There are some beautiful back roads to drive on, some nice views of the lake.

- The Smokehouse BarBQ, is a good place for lunch or dinner.
- Carole's, Breakfast will find most folks at Carole's (only open for breakfast / early lunch)- in town in the strip mall on HWY 39.
