Muir of Ord (Scottish Gaelic: Am Blàr Dubh) is a village in Highland, Scotland. It is situated near the western boundary of the Black Isle, about 9mi west of the city of Inverness and 5 + 1/2mi south of Dingwall. The village has a population of 2,690 and sits 35m above sea level.
