Potenza Picena is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region of Marche, about 30km southeast of Ancona and about 15km northeast of Macerata. Potentia was the Roman town situated in the lower Potenza valley, in the contemporary Italian region of Marche.
