Katesh is a town in the Central region of Tanzania. It is on the road from Arusha to Singida.

NMB is the only bank in town and has a cash machine. However, it does not offer access bank networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) - Arusha and Singida are the closest towns with this service.
Bus to Arusha is 6-10 hours, TSh 11,000. Direct bus leaves at 6AM; others originate in Singida. Bus to Singida is 2 hours, TSh 7,000, originates in Arusha. Through buses will probably not have seats (you will have to stand).
