Týn nad Bečvou (until 1949 just Týn) is a village and municipality (obec) in Přerov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 11.99km2, and has a population of 892 (as at 3 July 2006). Týn nad Bečvou lies approximately 14km north-east of Přerov, 29km east of Olomouc, and 239km east of Prague.
