Tettnang

Germany

Tettnang is located in the Lake Constance (Bodensee) region in the German federal-state of Baden-Württemberg about 10km from Friedrichshafen. The region produces a special variety of hops, an ingredient of beer, and ships it to breweries throughout the world.

  • Tettnang Hop Trail. A 4km (or about 8km round trip) hiking or cycling trail with information signs along the way about hops. Start- and endpoints are the Kronen-Brauerei (in the town center) and Hop Museum. See online map.
  • Tettnang Hops Circuit. A 42km round trip cycling tour through Tettnang and its region (including Friedrichshafen and parts along Lake Constance). The route has a total ascent of about 160m. There a signs (black bicycle on green arrow) along the way. See online map.
