Thy National Park is in the western part of North Jutland in Denmark.
Thy National Park is the first Danish nationalpark, as the whole system of national parks is a quite recent thing in Denmark. The park covers an area of 24.370 hectares of land at the western coast of Northern Jutland between Aggertange and Hanstholm.
The coastal part of the park consists of dunes, dune heaths, dune plantations and lakes. The inland part of the park mainly consists of farmland.
