Long Ashton is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England. It falls within the Unitary Authority of North Somerset, just outside the boundary of city of Bristol. The parish has a population of 6,044. The parish includes the hamlet of Yanley, and the residential area of Leigh Woods . The village is built on the south-facing slopes of a valley running from east to west, and on the old road from Bristol to Weston-super-Mare.
