Thai. An outstanding Thai restaurant. Can be noisy when crowded, and the atmosphere is lacking, but Esan Thai serves some of the best food in Bloomington, period. Most menu items have variable levels of spice; your server will ask that you specify your desired level. Beware the hotter spice levels; Esan reminds you that ordering your food too spicy (or simply not liking it) is not grounds for sending it back to the kitchen.
