The Brasserie Georges is a legendary brasserie in Lyon. It's the oldest brasserie in the city and one of the largest brasseries in Europe. The brasserie serves typical dishes including Lyon's famous sausage with pistachios as well as other continental recipes. In 1986 it made served the biggest sauerkraut in the world weighing in at a ton and a half and in 1996 it made the largest baked Alaska. They also brew their own beer.
