While Ohrid is known for its churches, it also has mosques including this Ottoman-era one. Located on the main pedestrian street of the Old Bazaar, the mosque was built in the 15th century. It has a rather simple design with one large dome and three smaller ones above the porch. It originally had at least one minaret but no longer has one. The mosque contains a few shops fronting the pedestrian street.
