Jack's Livery Stable

Mackinac Island, United States

Established in 1953 by brothers Jack and Burton Gough, Jack's offers both drive-yourself carriages and saddle horses for rent by the hour. Upon Jack's death in 1970 and Burton's death in 1976, Jack's sons, Billy and Reggie, and Burton's son, Dale, took over the stables. Today, Jack's is owned and operated by Dale and Cindy, Billy's wife, as well as Teddy, Billy's son. Jack's opens for the season in early May and closes in mid-October. Although open 7 days a week, hours change throughout the season. Please call for more information.
