Andrew Carnegie was a weaver's son who became the richest man in the world and gave his wealth away for the benefit of mankind. The birthplace of modern philanthropy, the museum tells his inspiring story which is still relevant today. With colourful graphics, interactive displays, weaving demonstrations, temporary exhibitions, education programme, children's activities, delightful cafe, shop and garden and unique events space, the museum has something for everyone.
