Ibirapuera Park

Ibirapuera Park is a major urban park in São Paulo, Brazil. It host museums, a concert house, planetarium, and many more attractions. It is the city's most well known area for leisure, jogging and walking. Ibirapuera Park was inaugurated in 1954 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of São Paulo and is the most well-known and attended park in town. The park receives approximately 20,000 visitors from Monday to Friday, 70,000 on Saturday and 130,000 on Sunday. It is often compared by foreigners to Ueno Park in Tokyo, Stanley Park in Vancouver, Hyde Park in London or Central Park in New York City.
