Morioka Station (located in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, is the railway station of the East Japan Railway (JR East Japan) and IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway. In 2002 (Heisei 14), it was selected as one of the Northeast Stations.
Platforms
- The platform No. 2-9 (Northeast Main Line, Yamada Line, Tazawa Line) is an elevated platform with four lines and eight lines on the island platform. All routes in the station have been added with the route color.
- Platform No. 11-14 ( Northeast, Akita, Hokkaido Shinkansen) is an elevated platform with 2 lines and 4 lines on the island platform (3 floors above ground).
- The station is completely closed from 00:00-4:45, including free passage.
- There is a souvenir shop on the second floor. The Great Hall and the "いわてのアンテナショップ".
