Akita Station (秋田駅 Akita-eki) is a railway station in Akita, Akita Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Station structure * Ground station. The station building is the Hashigami station building. Akita Station East-West communication free channel in "Poporodo". The north side of the free passage is arranged in the following order: station building, Byu Plaza Akita Station, Midori Window (business hours: 5:30-22:00), traditional line ticket gate, Shinkansen ticket gate. * The bullet train ticket has four automatic ticket gates (can be moved by Suica). * For traditional routes, only the central ticket gate introduces an automatic ticket gate (not Suica compatible). * Ticket vending machines are installed at each ticket gate, and the green counter and designated seat ticket vending machines are installed only at the central entrance. In addition, it is handled in the central ticket gate settlement office. * On the south side of the Freeway, there is a station building parking lot, Starbucks Akita Station store, waiting room, NewDays Akita Popolode store and Akita City Tourist Information Center. * In the March 2017 refurbishment, the NewDays Akita Popolo store is equipped with Mizuho Bank's MMK off-site ATM.

铁路公司

全日本铁路线如同蜘蛛网般笼罩日本国土全境，而铁路的种类及运作的公司已有很多种类，主要分为【JR】、【私铁】、【地下铁】、【路面电车】几种，有些是路线横跨全日本，有些只是某些主要都市里运行。所以要正确地乘坐日本火车，必须先知道它们的种类和分别。

有一些特殊铁路路线，【JR】与【地下铁】与【私铁】会共用同一条铁道和月台，日本会称之为「直通运转」，例如在东京便有超过10条地下铁与JR线及其他私铁路线直通运行。

日本铁路(JR, Japan Railway)

原本是日本国营铁路，后来私有化并分拆成为七家铁路公司：JR北海道、JR东日本、JR东海、JR西日本、JR四国、JR九州和JR货物。而JR各地区公司除了经营一般铁路线（在来线）与新干线外，亦经营一般巴士和高速巴士。例如：
