KTX was operated by Korea Railway (Korail) and was founded in 1994. After the Asian financial crisis, Korea's economic development was revived and KTX was quickly built. KTX uses the French TGV-A push-pull high-speed EMUs, a total of 46 groups, of which 12 are manufactured in Alstom, France, and the remaining 34 are made in Korea. Known as "one of the top ten trains in the world." It was officially opened on April 1, 2004. The KTX has 20 cars, two of which are powered, two for motor vehicles and sixteen for passenger trains. KTX does not have a dining car to increase passenger capacity.

At present, the KTX high-speed train has 4 routes, which need to be carefully confirmed by the station.

– At the Seoul Railway Station, you can take the Gyeongbu Line to Busan Station via Daejeon, Dongdaegu, Gyeongsan, and Miryang. Or arrive at the Gyeongbu Line of Busan Station via Daejeon, Dongdaegu, New Gyeongju, and Ulsan.
